What age group is this for?

Grades 3 through 12. The plays scale — the terminology primer and the step-by-step directions are written so a third-grade rec coach and a varsity assistant get value from the same page. Youth coaches usually live in Offense A and Defense A; high school staffs get the most out of Score & Situational.

I'm a parent, not a coach. Is this over my head?

No. Every section opens by defining its terms and mapping the floor — paint, elbow, wing, corners — before a single play. Parents tell us the court-map primer alone changed how they watch games.
